Being a long time Kilim collector myself, I was motivated to share my passion with friends & family. Always wanting to have Kilim designs of my own, my approach changed completely after hearing all the stories behind. Along the way, I realized the secret language of Anatolian Kilims, their history and motifs were waiting to be acknowledged and shared.
Voila! sustainability at it’s best.
My journey made it clear that I had to compromise on my love of creating a new design from scratch and dedicate time to travel around Anatolian villages, discovering local treasures and capturing the ancient art of Anatolia.
