Created in collaboration with a women’s cooperative in Sarıyer, Istanbul, this belt is entirely shaped by hand, pearl by pearl. Rows of luminous beads are individually worked together using traditional handcraft techniques, forming a softly structured piece with the character and subtle irregularity that only handwork can create.

Each belt carries the time, skill and touch of the women who made it. Produced in small quantities rather than through industrial manufacturing, it reflects Aslı Filinta’s definition of true value: craftsmanship as value, cultural knowledge as design, and women’s work as an essential part of the object’s story.
