The line is printed on cotton sweatshirts, hoodies and tees, in Turkish, left untranslated. It was one of the first Turkish-language slogan pieces to come out of Turkish fashion, and it did much to make the idea ordinary here: that a garment could carry a sentence in its own language rather than an imported one.
The sentence is not inherited from tradition. It is the brand's own, and it is addressed to whoever reads Turkish and catches the tone of it — half confidence, half warning.
This is the plainest part of the wardrobe and it is meant to be. Not every piece has to carry four hundred years of technique. A sweatshirt can carry a sentence.
The cotton is printed rather than embroidered, the cuts are unisex and loose, and they are made to be worn constantly — which, for a brand that argues the most sustainable garment is the one you already own and keep wearing, is the entire point.
